In 1994, a joint venture between Oman National Insurance Company and Warranty Holding, UK, created a dedicated division under the name of Gulf Warranties. They pioneered the concept of extended warranties for the automotive industry, by playing a crucial role in increasing car sales and service retention. By partnering with other leading insurance companies, within the Arabian peninsula, Gulf Warranties is able to offer the concept and product of extended warranty throughout the region.
Today more than a decade since its inception, Gulf Warranties has emerged as the premier and the only ISO 9001 - 2000 certified Warranty Company in the region, with a track record of consistent growth. The Company operates in 7 countries, through a network of fully-equipped offices, staffed with a highly committed industry specific professionals.
Gulf Warranties continues to set the pace in the industry to meet changes in market and customer demands. To this end, a new brand was launched - 'Warranty Plus'.
More than just being a warranty, Warranty Plus encompasses an entire spectrum of 'peace of mind' products and services, all adding to our extensive portfolio. These products are available through our offices, throughout the Gulf.
Having established a very successful track record, Gulf Warranties is now expanding its operation into Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Morocco and India.
