We are extremely pleased to announce that Gulf Warranties have been selected as the provider of extended warranty to DaimlerChrysler_® in the region. DaimlerChrysler_®launched a new program on September 25th 2003, offering a 7 year or 110,000 kms warranty with all their Chrysler, Jeep & Dodge vehicles. This warranty is supplied, administered and underwritten via Gulf Warranties LTD.

David King Business Development Manager said "This is a unique warranty in the region, it is the first time that a 7 year warranty has been offered by a manufacturer". The program covers UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan & Yemen.

With immediate effect, based in the heart of Beirut, Gulf Warranties now offer the same peace of mind products that we are famous for. Gulf Warranties attains ISO certification.

Gulf Warranties are proud to announce the ISO 9001:2000 standard certification after successfully completing a thorough external audit of its operations. Ours is the first business of its kind in the Middle East to achieve the ISO 9001:2000 certification.

ISO 9001:2000 is recognized and accepted internationally as a baseline to quality management system requirements. This standard addresses customer satisfaction by meeting their expectations in line with regulatory requirements.

“This is a significant milestone for us,” explained Mr. V. R. Ajitkumar, General Manager Gulf Warranties. “The distinction enhances our reputation as a dependable first-class provider of extended warranty protection in this relatively new class of insurance.”

The audit, which was conducted by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance under rigid international guidelines, followed months of preparation to achieve the certification. The ISO certification applies to the company’s sales and marketing division, as well as to our claims administration.

Talking to press reporters, Mr. Ajitkumar remarked “Our procedures and the company model itself have been built around client needs and expectations. Customer needs have been our primary focus since the company was established in 1994. The new recognition marks a turning point for the company. Once any business has been ISO certified, it cannot afford to slide back. These international guidelines apply to our entire operation from a process approach, which constantly motivates us to strengthen our efficiency and performance.”

At a function held at The Fairmont, Dubai on 29th June 03, Mr. Michael Hanna, Lead Assessor – Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance handed over the certificate to Mr. Ajitkumar. Among those present were Mr. Gautam Sen Gupta – Director Market Vision who has been associated with Gulf Warranties for over three years. Management Representative for ISO briefed the press on the process Gulf Warranties had been through to achieve ISO Certification. Mr. Cecil O’Brien thanked Ms. Siobhan O’Neill – Senior Consultant at Bywater for successfully guiding Gulf Warranties through the entire process of ISO 9001:2000. Mr. David King – Business Development Manager, made a short presentation on the Company.

Gulf Warranties clinches AUDI AG manufacturers deal.

 This year began on an encouraging note for Gulf Warrantes with one more addition to the list of Manufacturer's deal, that of Audi AG. This association endorses the increasing demand for manufacturer's schemes.

The Audi warranty comprises of 2 years unlimited mileage Audi AG warranty and an additional third year unlimited mileage extended warranty administered and underwritten via Gulf Warranties LTD.

All Audi distributors in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Palestine and Yemen will benefit from this new scheme.

The third year warranty will almost be similar to the manufacturers warranty and gives all Audi distributors special terms. The new policy books have been simplified and reflect the futuristic trend of the manufacturer. Needless to say Gulf Warranties will ensure a smooth and efficient claims handling process.
