When your blades are leaving lines and streaks on the windshield, it is time for replacement. Generally most blades last from 6 to 12 months only because of the deteriorating effects of sunlight, ozone and oxidation on rubber. In addition, as windshields age they become pitted due to road dirt and sand and this causes the wiper blades to wear faster. Technicians visually inspect your blades looking for uneven spots and tear. Because they cannot always tell by looking, you will be asked if your wipers are streaking. Should your wipers need replacement, you will be advised of the cost. They can be installed quickly and you'll be prepared the next time mother nature opens the sky.
